Overview
Our team is looking for a full-time (standard 40-hour work week + overtime), Heavy-Duty Mechanic for our Grande Prairie location.
The Heavy-Duty Mechanic is a skilled professional specializing in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of a wide range of heavy-duty machinery and equipment. This position requires a thorough understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to perform a wide range of tasks, from routine maintenance to more complex mechanical and electrical repairs.

Responsibilities & Position Qualifications
· Licensed Heavy-Duty Mechanics (journeyperson or apprentice).
· CVIP and Inspection Certification and experience on trucks and trailers.
- Able to identify mechanical issues in heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, such as trucks, trailers, construction machinery, and concrete equipment.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
· Possess a valid Driver’s License and Driver’s Abstract according to company policy.
- Have excellent organizational capabilities and able to communicate effectively.
· Willingness to work flexible hours and peak period overtime.
· Meet all Safety requirements and policies.
- As this is a safety sensitive position, pre-employment drug screening is in effect.
