We are currently looking for a Software Developer - Focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, at our Edmonton Location

This is a Fulltime Position

· Assist in the migration of existing business processes from legacy systems to Business Central.

· Develop, test, and implement customizations, extensions, and integrations within Business Central.

· Modify and create Business Central reports based on business requirements.

· Add and configure custom fields to enhance system functionality.

· Work closely with business analysts, end-users, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

· Ensure solutions align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

· Optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support for Business Central.

· Develop and maintain system documentation, including process workflows, data structures, and user guides.

· Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers on Business Central enhancements.

· Assist with data migration, cleansing, and validation during system transitions.

· Implement and maintain security roles and permissions within Business Central.

· Conduct system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.

· Provide end-user training and support during system implementation and updates.

· Stay updated on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central updates, best practices, and industry trends.

· A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience developing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV.

· Strong knowledge of AL programming language and Business Central development environment.

· Experience with Business Central APIs, integrations, and extensions.

· Proficiency in developing and modifying reports using RDLC and Power BI.

· Understanding of business processes related to finance, supply chain, and operations.

· Experience with data migration and system integration.

· Knowledge of SQL Server, Power Automate, and Power Apps is an asset.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong project management skills, including scope management and risk assessment.
